Unorthodox Roasters

Unorthodox Roasters are a coffee roasting venture borne out of a 10 month trip to Latin America in the hunt for beans and knowledge.

The two travellers succeeded in learning from the best coffee roasters on the continent and visiting almost all of the coffee growing regions.

It was time to bring it all back to Scotland.

In 2016 Unorthodox Roasters was founded and we began roasting. In 2017 we reached roasting capacity and upgraded to a 6kg Giesen and rented a shop on Kinross High Street.

We now work with 25-30 cafes, restaurants and hotels across the UK and would love for you to be part of the Unorthodox Story too!

In our two cafes we serve coffee in imported Japanese mugs and tea in glass cups. Our cafe vibe is rustic and homely.

We make a little food too! Only dishes we feel are worth it.

Being in one of our cafes is an experience and for you it should be a memorable one.
