Despite being self-taught, Ian has become one of the most popular and successful still life painters in the UK and his work is exhibited throughout the country. Following in the footsteps of the Old Dutch Masters, his painstakingly executed paintings show that the skill of painting is alive and well.
Frames Gallery started as a picture framers in 1979, and this is still an important part of their business, but they always had a desire to be able to exhibit contemporary Scottish artists' work.
So, in 1991, they moved to their current premises in Victoria Street, Perth to allow the holding of larger exhibitions.
Their aim is to present the work in as friendly and welcoming an environment as possible where you, the visitor, can relax and enjoy everything that is on view.
