The Old Ship Inn is Perth’s oldest pub run by Tina and her small but perfectly formed super sound team. As well as all that history it is packed full of traditional Scottish charm. Its cosy interior is full of overflowing bookshelves, comfy seating and wood burning stoves so that you can relax and enjoy your drink in the comfort of a home from home.
The Old Ship Inn is so welcoming whether you are curled up inside watching sport on the big screen or enjoying the outside seating area on a rare sunny day in the Scottish summertime.
The beer garden area is surrounded with pretty lights and the interior is bedecked with bunting so there’s always a feel of celebration about the place guaranteed to put a smile on your face whatever the weather. There is also a function room available upstairs perfect for private events and parties up to 40 people with decorations and buffet catering options available.
A great range of drinks on tap combined with great cocktail options and an amazing selection of gins, including local favourite Perth Gin that is distilled just round the corner in Tay Street, mean you will be spoiled for choice what to request from Bobby the barman. The frozen strawberry daquiris that were served up in summer were delicious!
